The many aspects of LeBron's game

King James continues to kill opponents routinely. They have yet to lose against a western conference team (10-0). They also retain the leagues best record yet again. James is coming off of a legenday hot night aganist the L.A. Clippers where he scorched them for 23 out of the teams 46 in the first quarter. He's also on pace to have his best season. Thats better than 2007's 30 ppg, 7 apg, and 7 rpg he posted! So far especially in light of being 2-0 against Kobe's Lakers, Bron Bron seems unstoppable.

LeBron, LeBron, LeBron....What is it about Cleveland's savior that makes him so damn dominant? Why can't he be stopped? Is it the fact that he can play positions 1-4 and maybe even the 5? Is it that as a defender you not only have to worry about the relentless drive to the basket, but now the perimeter jumpshot? Could it even be the different ways in which he can score whether it be off the dribble or in the post with his 6 foot 8 260 pound frame? What ever it is, as a Cleveland Cavaliers fan, I'm cetainly glad he's on our side and not someone elses. I for one definately hope he reamins a Cav after his contract is up at the end of the seaon, but then again what Cav fan doesn't? LeBron does that to franchises. What he does on the court he makes look so effortless.

In my opinion it is his eye popping ability to get to the opposing teams paint area and make plays that amazes me the most. Wat about you?

  1. For me, Lebron’s most impressive aspect of his game is his speed. Sure there may be a few players in the NBA that are faster that James, but compare their height and weight to Lebron’s and you’ll see why Lebron James is one of the NBA’s best. It seems like every week you see Lebron on ESPN’s top ten plays tearing down to court catching up with an opponent, who had a four step lead on him, to reject their shot. I also hope Lebron stays a Cavalier next year but I think that decision will depend on whether or not he can win a ring this season.

  2. I agree with Pinney. LeBron's speed is amazing for a man of his size. The guy is sneaky quick, which is odd to say for a 6'8" mountain of a man.

Oh, I'd recommend that--since you have a general readership--you provide links for lingo like the numbered positions (1-5).

Fun post. I like your use of the link here--it's not literal. Clever.
